‘Abdoullah Bin ‘Abbas (رضي الله عنه) dit :
« Étant en croupe derrière le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ), al-Fadl [vit]
arriver une femme de Khath‘am. Il se mit à la regarder et elle de faire
de même. Quant au Prophète (ﷺ), il détourna le visage d’al-Fadl de
l’autre côté. La femme dit alors : "O Messager d’Allah! L’obligation du
pèlerinage (Hajj) prescrite par Allah à
Ses adorateurs est fixée alors que mon père est un vieillard d’un âge
avancé; il ne peut se tenir sur une monture. Puis-je faire le pèlerinage
à sa place? – Oui, répondit le Prophète." Cela eut lieu lors du
pèlerinage de l’Adieu (Hajj al-Wida du Prophète ﷺ). »

Narrated `Abdullah bin `Abbas:
Al-Fadl was riding behind Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and a woman from the
tribe of Khath'am came and Al-Fadl started looking at her and she
started looking at him. The Prophet (ﷺ) turned Al-Fadl's face to the
other side. The woman said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! The obligation of
Hajj enjoined by Allah on His devotees has become due on my father and
he is old and weak, and he cannot sit firm on the Mount; may I perform
Hajj on his behalf?" The Prophet (ﷺ) replied, "Yes, you may." That
happened during the Hajj-al-Wida (of the Prophet (ﷺ) ).
